After connecting with me by filling out my form to the right, calling/texting me, emailing me or stopping by my office in Liberty Village, we will schedule a formal time to meet in person to kick off the home buying process. At our introductory meeting, we will focus on determining your real estate needs and wants. Is this your first real estate purchase? Are you looking for something immediate? Is this part of an investment plan? We will discuss your budget, the type of home you are looking for, your preferred location, and other important criteria.
If you haven’t already been pre-approved for a mortgage, now will be the time to do so. Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is essential in the current Toronto real estate market. If necessary, I can connect you with a mortgage broker who will help you establish your budget and determine what mortgage option works best for you. Once you are pre-approved, you will have a better understanding of how much you can spend.
Next, we will set up real estate search criteria based on our conversations and my expertise of the market. I will examine listings for you daily to take advantage of the fast-moving market and ensure you receive the newest Toronto listings that hit your wish list items.
I will take you out on several showings, walking you through each property so you know of every potential issue and notable feature of a home. Whether you’re buying a condo, detached house, or investment property, I will be right there beside you to answer all of your questions on how to buy in Toronto.
When you’ve found the right home, I will put together an offer with you, and explain all of the components that go into submitting an offer. I will review recommended conditions, review home inspections and status certificates, and answer all of your questions to make you feel educated and comfortable. I will keep you informed every step of the way, even until the late hours of the night to secure the home you want.
