When we started this year, we didn’t know what to expect. What would happen to Toronto Real Estate? Would it thrive? Be challenging? What were the market expectations? What could we expect from ourselves and our team?

Although we at this very day and time feel like we’re in a time warp and slowly going backward instead of forwards as Covid continues to rear its ugly head, we have to stop for a moment and think about how fortunate we are to have the year that we did.

I’m very proud to say that 2021 was personally, my best year yet in the business of Real Estate. And I’m extremely happy to announce that Toronto Realty Boutique was just named the Best Luxury Real Estate Agency in Toronto. What a way to end the year and I want to thank each and every one of my clients, colleagues, partners, and peers for the confidence you’ve placed in me to help you with your real estate dreams.

Luxury Real Estate Toronto

The holidays are going to look a little different this year, but in the end, if we have our health and our families close by, we have a lot to be thankful for.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of our TRB community. We have a loyal, engaged community that makes what we do, day in and day out so much fun. Together we’ve had a great year, so I wanted to use this blog to share my most popular posts, my top pre-construction picks and share a bit of my upcoming 2022 market forecast with you!

I’ve seen a lot of love for our blog posts this year, so if you have liked them on Facebook or Instagram or Retweeted on Twitter, we want to say thanks!! We looked back through our stats and here are some of our most popular 2021 Real Estate blogs:

Although it was a crazy time with a global pandemic impacting all aspects of life, the real estate market in Toronto not only held stable, it thrived throughout the entire year.

Some first-time buyers took the leap during these crazy times and got to experience the rush of purchasing their FIRST home in Toronto – going through that process isn’t easy and nothing makes me happier than helping them get their foot into the Real Estate door.

I’ve helped sellers sell their homes for much more than expected, and that smile when the contract is firmed up is unlike any other. Some have gone on to purchase bigger homes for their expanding families, and some have taken on amazing reno projects that are sure to impress come their completion dates.

So many clients are returning to the city and are starting to enjoy the city life that just can’t be matched.

Pre-construction buying was ON FIRE this year, and I was right in the thick of it. I helped SO many first-time investors get into the market and they’re already seeing profits on their purchases. Some buyers closed on their pre-construction condos they purchased a few years ago and are now enjoying rental income each month. How’s that for a major success?!

Are you still thinking about a pre-construction condo? There is one major launch coming in early January that is scheduled to be the first and biggest of the year – XO2 Condos.

Looking Ahead to 2022

I’ve got a very special blog post coming soon that will cover all of my predictions for 2022. What’s going to happen with the Detached Home market – can it possibly continue to soar? Will semi-detached and row homes fly like they are right now? And the Condo market – what we’re seeing now is going to blow the roof off of things come Q1 of 2022. Stay tuned for that blog post and if you’d like to read it before it gets posted, be sure to sign up for my emails – I send out these kinds of articles to my clients first before I share them on the blog.

Working in Real Estate is very special for me and my team, as we’re able to truly get to know clients and see them take major steps in their lives. It’s the relationships that make what we do so fulfilling – it honestly doesn’t feel like work. (most of the time…)

So Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family, both near and far. We hope this time of year brings you joy as you make memories in your home. Because that’s what really turns a house or condo into a home – the memories you make there.

Cheers to a safe and healthy holiday season,
~Romey, Lead Broker & Founder – Toronto Realty Boutique
