This house reminds us of those beautiful California-style homes that you see driving up the scenic roadway to La Jolla. This house was one of Gordon’s final projects before he passed. His passion was modern homes, but when done school there were no opportunities to explore this so he turned to Georgian style homes which eventually made him famous. Given this was his last project, he was happy to return to his passion for modern homes.

Everywhere where your head rests, the wires are coated in a stainless steel, industrial grade sheath to protect your body from any negative effects of electromagnetic radiation and bypass all sleeping areas. We can get on board with a concept like this!

WOW. Our mouths dropped when we saw this kitchen – magazine worthy and just waiting to be filled with delicious food cooking and the sounds of laughter and glasses clinking. Features include a complete Scavolini kitchen with walnut veneer cabinetry and back-painted frosted glass uppers. A magnificent oversize quartz waterfall countertop anchors the room, and appliances include a Viking 6-burner dual gas stove, and Miele fridge and dishwasher. Other highlights – the Falmec hood fan, Barazza Italian stainless steel sinks, Italia faucets and a Tyent Alkaline Water Filter System.

It’s obvious that as much thought and care was given to the outside of this home as the inside – it’s THAT good. It’s hard for us to pick our favourite feature – among the top are the custom-built in-ground Gibsan spa, the Napoleon gas fireplace on the lower level, and the Paloform gas fireplace on the main deck. All of this in your backyard. Worth mentioning are the 1 ½-car automatic garage, the large field Indiana limestone wrapping around the front entrance and the built-in irrigation system throughout for the stunning landscaping surrounding the home.
